Volume 15: Picture Word-Finds
Welcome to 'Picture Word-Finds', a great way to enjoy word search puzzles. Our artists have created pictures which appear on the left-hand pages. Unlike most word search puzzles where lists of words are given for you to find, in Picture Word-Finds you must create your own word lists. You can do this by looking carefully at each picture and then trying to find which pictured items we have hidden in the diagram.rnItems are found in the puzzle diagram the way that are in standard word searches. Hidden words may read across (horizontally), up and down (vertically), or diagonally, and they may read either backwards or forwards in any of these directions. Words will always appear in a straight line and often overlap each other. Not all of the letters in the diagram will be used. As you find a word, circle it in the puzzle diagram. You may also choose to circle it in the picture or jot it down under the diagram.rnIf you are stumped, you may want to peek at our word lists answer pages. Sometimes it helps to work backwards - you may spot a word in the puzzle diagram, and then go back to the picture to make sure it's depicted there. One last suggestion: Kids are experts at spotting hidden pictures, so invite your children or grandchildren to join in the fun.
